- Time:few hours + dry time
1Stencil polka dot design on two of the banners with acrylic paint. (Use a foam brush to apply paint sparingly to the stamps.) Stamp heart background on third burlap banner in the same manner. Let dry.
2Stamp "fabulous self", "prettiest thing", "life is amazing" or other phrases on cardstock using coordinating ink pads. Trim pieces of cardstock with a craft knife, and cut a slightly larger piece of coordinating color cardstock (as shown, the project uses the chevron background stamp on one, cutouts of a large circle and large scalloped circle for another and a ribbon design for a third). Glue the two pieces for each pennant together, then to the banner, using tape runner and hot glue gun, respectively.
3Make a loopy bow by winding baker's twine around four fingers of your hand, about 6 times. Remove from hand and tie with a small piece of twine in the center to secure bow. Spread bow open, and adhere with hot glue. Paint the wood star in one of the paint colors. When dry, add it, the buttons, clothespins, and natural twine to further embellish your banner.
