Nicole Crafts Butterfly Lattice Birdhouse
Fun tip: Customize any of these projects to your home's color theme. Birdhouses can be decorated in so many ways...whether with paint, decoupage with scrapbook or decorative stamped paper, craft basics like buttons, beads and ribbon, you can make it your own!
- Time:2-3 hours (includes drying time)
1Paint roof, base, perch and opening Coastal Blue. Paint remaining areas of birdhouse Grape Juice.
2Repaint lattice and frame Snow White. Allow to dry.
3Sand edges of birdhouse to give a slightly distressed look. Brush on varnish.
4Cut two small, two medium and two large butterfly shapes from paper. Paint backs Grape Juice. Allow paint to dry.
5Glue small butterflies back-to-back, bend at center and glue to roof. Repeat for medium-size butterflies. Glue to front of birdhouse.
6Glue one large butterfly to roof. Bend second butterfly at center and glue center of butterfly on roof.
