Plaid Mod Podge Colorful Frame

Decoupage a fun frame for your favorite photo.

Project Instructions

    Project time does not include drying time for the neither the paint nor the Mod Podge.

    Basecoat frame and wood shapes with Wicker White, let dry. Sand lightly.

    Paint shapes as desired. Note: depending on what wood shapes you pick, you may need more paints than those listed under supplies.

    Paint frame Pink, let dry. Sand lightly to create distressed finish.
  • 5
    Using wood shapes as a pattern, cut cardstock to desired size to cover areas shown. Apply cardstock following general directions on Mod Podge. Let dry.

    Apply large cardstock to cover entire front of frame with Mod Podge. Let dry. (For this step, three different types of cardstock were used, with the torn edges covered by straight edges.)
  • 7
    Glue shapes as shown.
  • 8
    Finish with thin coat of Mod Podge, let dry.

  • Sandpaper
