Project Instructions

  • 1
Project time does not include drying time for the Mod Podge.
  • 2
Measure a clothespin and note the size.
  • 3
Measure and cut cardstock to fit the clothespins. (Tip: four sheets of cardstock will cover approximately 48 clothespins.)
  • 4
Mod Podge all of the cardstock paper strips to the clothespins. Add a medium layer of Mod Podge to the clothespin with the paintbrush, smooth the paper down and repeat. Let dry for 15 ¬Ė 20 minutes.
  • 5
Add a topcoat of Mod Podge Satin to the top of each clothespin. Let dry.
  • 6
Add Mod Podge Dimensional Magic to the top of each clothespin and let dry.
  • 7
Space the clothespins evenly around the mirror; glue or just clip in place.
  • 8
Glue a piece of coordinating ribbon to the back of the mirror as a hanger. Let dry for 24 hours before hanging.
  • 9
Optional: by not gluing clothespins to mirror, you can change the cardstock with each new season.
