Sun and Fun Shadow Box

Treasures from time spent at the beach come to life in this shadow box.

Project Instructions

    Carefully remove the back of the shadow box set and it aside with the glass piece.

    In a well ventilated area, apply an even coating of white spray paint to the frame and wooden insert. Repeat with another 1-2 coats until desired color is achieved. Let dry.

    Cut Makin' Waves paper to fit frame backing and glue in place being sure to keep the frame hanger right-side up. Let dry.

    Pour sand into one of the bottles and seal with cork. Assemble the bottle and other beach finds in the bottom portion of the frame and glue into place. Let dry.

    Trim twine to fit from end-to-end of the frame similar to a clothes line and glue into place. Let dry.

    Glue photo on Kumquat Geo paper and trim leaving desired border. Let dry.

    Attach sticker to photo and anywhere else you want to add some beachy flair.

    Using the clothes pins, attach photo(s) to clothes line.
  • 9
    Assemble frame and seal the back.
  • 10
    Measure jute to fit from end-to-end of the bottom of the frame. Trim and glue. Let dry.
