Nicole Crafts Deco Mesh Rose Spring Wreath
Spring has surely sprung with this bright and sparkly wreath! Whether you call it Deco Mesh or Geo Mesh, A.C. Moore has a wide array of colors, plus ribbon and tubing to create the trendiest of wreaths for your home and holiday decor.
- Time:1-2 hours
1To create rose flower, use 2-½" Deco Mesh ribbon right from spool. Fold the end of the ribbon in half lengthwise and start rolling the end to form the center of the flower. Apply a drop of hot glue to secure. Keeping the mesh folded with your fingers, start to twist the mesh, wrapping around center (but not too tight). After a few twists, stop and glue in place. Continue process until flower is your desired size. Make 5 flowers in varying sizes.
2Cut two 3 yard pieces of Yellow Deco Mesh ribbon. Holding both pieces together, make a bow and secure to bottom of wreath using pins. Trim ends to desired length.
3Attach a ribbon flower to the center of bow. Glue a rhinestone to the center of the flower.
4Attach 3 flowers to the left side of the wreath and one on the right side as shown. Glue a rhinestone to the center of each flower.
5Cut 5" pieces of Deco Mesh tubing. Fold in half and glue on each side of flower as shown.
6Cut a 1-¾" piece of wire. Insert ends into back of wreath and secure with hot glue to form hanger.
