Use a gauge of 10 sts and 12 rows (about 4 inch) in St st (k on the right side, p on the wrong wide) with 2 strands of Chocolate, 1 strand of Sandstone and 1 strand of Wheat held tog to knit a hedgehog that measures approximately 10-1/2 inch long. Remember to check your gauge. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 inch square, try using a smaller size needle; if it takes you more stitches and rows, try a larger size needle. Download template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere and the pattern. Inc 1 (increase 1 st) = Knit into front and back of st Note: Hedgehog is knit using 4 strands of yarn held together
