    Special Stitches

sc2tog (single crochet 2 together) = [Draw up a loop in next st] twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.

After the first round of stitches is worked, pull gently, but firmly, on tail to tighten ring.

Join with sc: Place a slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and draw through both loops on hook.

Join with slip st: Place a slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated stitch, yarn over and draw through stitch and loop on hook.

Draw tails to Wrong Side and tie together, taking care not to pull so tightly on ends as to pull Eyelashes to Wrong Side. Repeat around 8th tr of Head. With needle, carefully straighten Eyelashes upward bring out fullness. Trim ends of tails close to Head.

Weave in ends. Apply sealant to all knots and ends to prevent unraveling. Apply to Eyelashes also, if desired, to seal in place.
