Attach one inner ear to one outer ear using the inner ear 10”" tail and a yarn needle. Stitch into place, with the base of the ears (the last rows) matching up. Use the photos for reference if necessary. Be careful not to stitch right through the outer ear, as you do not want your stitches to be visible. You can create an invisible stitch by running your needle through the edge of the inner ear and barely through the surface of the outer ear.

    Assembly:
Stitch each ear along the front edge of the hat base, in front of each ear hole. The front edge of the base is the pointed edge. Use the yarn tails from the outer ears to stitch into place, running your needle through the edge of the outer ear. The ears are meant to stand up, so you may have to reinforce your stitches to give the ears support.
