1Use a gauge of 10 sts + 8 rows (4 inch or 10 cm) to crochet a cowl that is approximately 8 inch x 60 inch (20 cm x 152 cm). Remember to check your gauge. If you cannot obtain the required gauge, switch to a different crochet hook.
2Notes Cowl is worked in turned rows then seamed to form circle. To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete stitch. Proceed with new color. Carry old color loosely up side of piece until next needed.
