Use a gauge of 10 sts and 9 rows (4 inch) in pattern to crochet a cowl that measures 5 inch wide and 60 inch around. Use a gauge of the first three rounds (4-3/4 inch) in diameter to crochet a beanie that measures between 21 and 22 inch in circumference. Save time, check your gauge. If the hook listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge. Download template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere.
