Cardigan is worked in separate pieces, a Back, 2 Fronts, and 2 Sleeves. When you see ‘– 12 sts’ in the instructions, this lets you know how many sts you will have at the end of that specific row. Cardigan is buttoned using spaces between sts as buttonholes. We found this to be a neater alternative for this yarn!
