Use a gauge of 12 dc and 6 rows (4 inch) to crochet a sweater that measures 17 (18, 19, 21) inch to fit chest measurement and 20 (22, 24, 26) inch to finished chest measure to fit approximately 6 (12, 18, 24) months. Remember to check your gauge. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 inch square, try using a smaller size hook; if it takes you more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook Download template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere and the pattern. Pattern and supplies are written for smallest size with changes for larger sizes in parentheses. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. For ease in working, circle all numbers pertaining to your size. You will need 2 skeins of Coral to make this Sweater in 6 month size; 3 skeins in 12 month size; 3 skeins in 18 month size and 4 skeins for 24 month size.
