1Use a gauge of 12 stitches + 16 rows (about 4 inch or 10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) to make the cardigan. Be sure to check your gauge. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to match the gauge, try using a smaller size hook; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook. You will need 7 skeins to make this in size Small; 10 skeins for size M/L; and 13 skeins to make this in size 1X/2X.
2SIzes S (M-L, 1X-2X) Finished Bust About 36 (43, 50) in. (91-1/2 (109, 127) cm) Finished Length About 12 (14, 16) in. To follow pattern more easily, circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning.
