iLovetoCreate Ribbon Egg
It will take no time at all to glue a variety of embellishments onto the iLovetoCreate Ribbon Egg. It's sure to impress the Easter Bunny or anyone else!
- Time:1/2 hour
1For this project, we used Fuschia, Kiwi, Purple, Turquoise, Orange, Yellow and a few patterns from the Spring Mix collection, but it's easy to change the colors to a scheme that's more your liking!
2Push wide end of egg onto chopstick or skewer.
3Cut a few lengths of one ribbon to fit vertically on egg. Apply a thin bead of Quick Dry Tacky Glue from the pack to back of ribbon. Press onto egg, trimming where ends meet.
4Cut a few lengths of a different ribbon to fit horizontally around egg. Glue into place.
5Repeat procedure to achieve a woven effect, using a pin to tuck under overlapping ribbon as needed. Let dry.
6For hangers, cut two 12 inch lengths from desired ribbon. Loop one length back and forth three times to create loopy bow. Tie remaining length around center of bow, tying knot close to bow. Knot ends together to form hanger. Trim end. Apply a dot of Fast Grab Tacky Glue from the pack to knot. Press onto small end of egg. Secure with pins until dry. Remove pins.
