Project Instructions

  • 1
Push wide end of egg onto chopstick or wood skewer.

Cut a few lengths of one ribbon to fit vertically on egg. Apply a thin bead of quick dry tacky glue to back of ribbon. Press onto egg, trimming where ends meet. Cut a few lengths of a different ribbon to fit horizontally around egg. Glue into place. Repeat these steps to achieve a woven effect, using a pin to tuck under overlapping ribbon as needed. Let dry.

For hangers, cut two 12" lengths from desired ribbon. Loop one length back and forth three times to create loopy bow. Tie remaining length around center of bow, tying knot close to bow. Knot ends together to form hanger. Trim end. Apply a dot of fast grab tacky glue from the pack to knot. Press onto small end of egg. Secure with pins until dry. Remove pins.
