Scarecrow Mason Jar

Mason jars are all the rage in crafting and creating different characters with them for the holiday is fun and easy. Use your imagination to make jars in various sizes for all the holidays, such as the Scarecrow Mason Jar!

Project Instructions

    Remove lid to mason jar and put aside, it will not be used for project.
  • 2
    Paint entire outside of jar with Flesh Tone paint using foam pouncer. Let dry and paint on additional coats as needed until entire jar is covered.

    Cut lengths of raffia and glue to inside of straw hat and then glue to the top of mason jar.

    Separate out hair to create 2 ponytails on either side of jar. Tie with ribbon. Trim front raffia to create bangs.

    To paint on face, shape eyes like triangles. Shape the nose like a heart, draw on a squiggle mouth and then add heart shapes for cheeks using Black paint markers. Fill in nose and cheeks with Pink and Red paint markers. Add dots of Yellow for freckles.
