DecoArt® Candy Corn Treat Pot

Leave this painted clay pot on your porch to spook out all the ghosts, goblins and other creatures who come to your door this Halloween.

Project Instructions

    Note: Allow each step to dry completely before moving on to next step.
  • 2
    Using painter's tape, tape off bottom of rim. Using sponge or ¾ inch flat brush, base outside of pot with Black Tie.
  • 3
    Remove tape, and using same brush, paint rim and inside of pot with Marigold. (Repeat until desired coverage achieved.)
  • 4
    Copy pattern onto tracing paper. Using stylus and transfer paper, trace outline of candy corn only onto pot and lettering onto rim.
  • 5
    Paint candy corns Cotton Ball using #10 filbert brush. Repeat to get solid coverage.
  • 6
    Trace segment lines onto candy corn. Using #6 flat brush, paint bottom section of each candy corn Marigold and center section Tiger Lily Orange. (Repeat as necessary to achieve desired coverage.)
  • 7
    Paint lettering Black Tie using #2 flat brush.
  • 8
    Do not expose pot to moisture for 72 hours after painting.
