DecoArt Spider Cider Jar

Create some embellished glassware for Halloween!

Project Instructions

    Clean jar with alcohol and let dry before painting.
  • 2
    Use painter's tape to mask off label area.
  • 3
    Use cosmetic sponge to pounce Sand inside masked area. Repeat for opaque coverage.
  • 4
    Using same sponge, load small amount of Dark Chocolate and pounce on palette to soften color. Lightly pounce mix around edges of label.
  • 5
    Carefully remove tape immediately. (Tip: for clean edge when paint is allowed to dry in taped area, run craft knife or razor blade around taped edge to release paint.)
  • 6
    Trace and transfer lettering by taping template inside jar.
  • 7
    Use liner brush and Black to do lettering, label edges, webs, and spiders.
  • 8
    Use liner brush and Tuscan Red to paint hourglass on top of spider.
