Project Instructions

  • 1
Create two ears and a nose with White Model Magic. (Tip: Gently press ears & nose against pumpkin to make them more form fitting for when you’re ready to glue). Let them air dry, usually 24 hours. When dry, paint with Apple Orchard paint.
  • 2
Paint pumpkin with Apple Orchard paint. It may require a few coats due to pumpkin texture.
  • 3
Paint wooden pickle barrels black. These will become Frankenstein’s "bolts"
  • 4
Cut black craft fur in half, creating his hair. Determine placement of the hair and then cut an "X" on the underside of the fabric to fit over the pumpkin stem.
  • 5
Glue on hair, ears, nose, bolts, and eyes (Tip: if gluing on wiggle eyes with hot glue, let the glue sit a minute to "cool down" before applying the eyes so they don’t melt).
  • 6
Using the black paint pen you can add eyebrows, the mouth and a few scars.
