Make your windows extra spooky this year!

Project Details

  • Level:intermediate
  • Time:2 hours

Project Instructions

  • 1
Project time does not include drying time for the dimensional fabric paint.
  • 2
Cut freezer paper according to amount of window clings you want to create.
  • 3
Trace window cling shapes onto shiny side of freezer paper using pencil. Tape to stiff backing. (Tip: if you are uncomfortable drawing Halloween-themed shapes freehand, look in books or on the internet for pictures that you can use as templates.)
  • 4
Using paint colors listed under supplies, paint Halloween-themed shapes.
  • 5
Outline image(s) with paint and fill in with desired color. Where colors change (eyes and other facial features, etc.) squeeze color around the area, then fill in with desired color.
  • 6
Let dry completely (this may require sitting overnight depending on weather conditions). Carefully peel back images and attach to window.
