Use a gauge of 16 dc and 8 yoke dc rows (about 4 inch) using smaller needles to crochet this dress and headband. Remember to check your gauge. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge. Download template for special and standard crochet stitches and abbreviations not explained elsewhere and the pattern. Special Stitches: V-st (V-stitch) = (Dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated stitch. Shell = (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in indicated stitch. Notes: Dress is worked from the top down. Yoke is worked back and forth in rows, from neck down to underarm. Stitches are then skipped to form armholes, and the skirt is then worked in rounds down to the lower edge. Pattern and supplies are written for size 6 months with changes for 12 months, 18 months and 24 months in parentheses: To Fit Chest: 17 (18, 19, 20) inch Finished Chest: 17-1/2 (18-1/2, 20-1/2, 21-1/2) inch Finished Length: 11 (13-1/2, 14-1/2, 16) inch
