1Use a gauge of about 4 pattern repeats (about 6 inch) to crochet a cowl that measures 12 inch long by 32 inch circumference. Note that one pattern repeat consists of one single crochet, 3 chains and one double crochet. Save time, check your gauge. If the hook or needle listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge.
