A warm expression of love!
- Time:3 hours
1Use a gauge of 4 sts to crochet a wreath that measures about 12" across.
Save time, check your gauge. If it takes you less stitches to match the gauge, try using a smaller size needle or hook; if it takes you more stitches, try a larger size needle or hook.
Download template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere.
Note: For easier wrapping, make a 2-1/2" ball of each color to wrap around wreath.
2Draw a 12" heart on the styrofoam. Carefully cut it out with the foam cutter. Use small saw to trim the dowel to 16"
Push dowel rod through the wreath diagonally as shown in photo before wrapping yarn around wreath. Remove dowel rod. Wrap yarn around wreath alternating colors Perfect Pink, Shocking Pink and Grey Heather. When changing colors, lay a 2 inch end of the next color next to end of previous color and wrap next color over both ends. This will help keep yarn from unraveling. After wrapping last color, weave in loose ends and trim.
