Red Heart Super Saver Holiday Hearts Tree Skirt

Add hand-crafted love to your Christmas décor with a wonderful tree skirt.

Use a gauge of 9 sts + 6 rows (about 3") in double crochet to crochet a tree skirt that has 74-1/2" around (measured across fullest width of each star point section) x 21”" long, not including border. Each star point section is 14-1/2" at widest x 21"” long, including edging. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your gauge swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
