1Use a gauge of 15 sc and 16 rows (4 inch) to crochet a case that measures 7 inch wide by 9-1/2 inch long. Save time, check your gauge. If the hook or needle listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across 25 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc 25 sc. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 4-1/2 inch from beginning, end with a right side row.
Bottom Fold Row (Wrong Side): Ch 1, work sc in each st 2 rows below 25 sc. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 14 inch from beginning, end with a right side row.
Top Fold Row (Wrong Side): Repeat Bottom Fold Row. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 15-1/2 inch from beginning. Fasten off.
Fold top and bottom edges to wrong side along Fold Rows. Working though both layers, sc evenly along edges of each row to secure pockets. With right side facing, slip st down center of case, working through both layers to divide into two Pockets.
Ties (make 2):
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each st across. Fasten off.
Place ties 1 inch from top and 1 inch from bottom. Sew to case at center point
Weave in ends.
