Project Instructions

  • 1
Blow up the balloon to the desired size and tie off. Make a mixture of 1 part Mod Podge and 1 part water, and then saturate the jute in the mixture.
  • 2
Wrap the jute around the balloon until you reach the desired look. Tuck the end of the jute under itself to secure.
  • 3
Take a piece of wax linen cord and let it catch under the jute, bring ends together and tie. Hang it to let it dry overnight.
  • 4
Once dry, use a pin to pop the balloon, and remove it from the inside of the ball.
  • 5
Cut a 10"” piece of jute and put it through the ball, knotting the ends. Let the loop be at the top and use hot glue to attach.
  • 6
Cut 15"” piece of ribbon and make a bow to use as a hanger. Trim ends on a diagonal, and glue it to the loop. Finish by gluing the jingle bell to the bow.
