    Toddler Hat:
    Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 11 dc into a magic ring, sl st into top of ch 2 (12).
    Round 2: ch 2, dc into base of chain, 2 dc in all stitches, sl st into top of ch 2 (24).
    Round 3: ch 2, 2 dc into the next stitch, *dc, 2 dc* repeat around, sl st into top of ch 2 (36).
    Round 4: ch 2, dc into the first stitch, 2 dc into the next stitch, *dc, dc, 2 dc* repeat around sl st into top of ch 2 (48).
    Rounds 5 through 10: ch 2, dc into each stitch, sl st into top of ch 2.
    Change to color for Trim.
    Round 11: ch 1, sc into each stitch, sl st into top of ch 1.

    Child Hat:
    Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10 dc onto a magic ring, sl st into top of ch 2 (11).
    Round 2: ch 2, dc onto base of chain, 2 dc in all stitches, sl st into top of ch 2 (22).
    Round 3: ch 2, 2 dc into the next stitch, *dc, 2 dc* repeat around, sl st into top of ch 2 (33).
    Round 4: ch 2, dc into the first stitch, 2 dc into the next stitch, *dc, dc, 2 dc* repeat around sl st into top of ch 2 (44).
    Round 5: ch 2, dc into the next two stitches, 2 dc into the next stitch, *dc, dc, dc, 2 dc* repeat round sl st into top of ch 2 (55).
    Rounds 6 through 10: ch 2, dc into each stitch, sl st into top of ch 2.
    Change to color for Trim.
    Ch 1, sc into each stitch, sl st into top of ch 1.

    Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 11 dc into a magic ring, sl st into top of ch 2 (12).

    Round 5: ch 2, dc into the next two stitches, 2 dc into the next stitch, *dc, dc, dc, 2 dc* repeat around sl st into top of ch 2 (60).
    Rounds 6 through 10: ch 2, dc into each stitch, sl st into top of ch 1.
    Change to color for Trim.
    Round 11: ch 1, sc into each stitch, sl st into top of ch 1.

    Hair:
    Hair is cut into strands twice as long as then folded in half to place into the hat. Cut 2 strands of hair for each stitch around.
    For Toddler White Hair, it is 96 stitch around. For Child White Hair, it is 110 stitch around. For Adult White Hair, it is 120 stitch around. For all sizes, this wil give you a braid that is about 1 foot.
    For Toddler Carrot Hair, it is 96 stitch around. For Child Carrot Hair, it is 110 stitch around. For Adult Carrot Hair, it is 120 stitch around. For all sizes, this will give you a braid this is about 2 foot.
    To attach strands to the hat, take two strands, fold in half, finding the middle.
    Using a crochet hook, slip hook into the bottom stitch from the bottom of the hat toward the hook the middle of of the hair pieces and pull through.
    Pass the long end of the strands through the loop you just created and pull tight. Repeat around.
    For White Hair, divide hair into half and create two braids.
    For Carrot Hair, gather all hair into one long braid.
    Secure braids with tightly knotted yarn.
