Stitch Studio by Nicole Picnic Strawberries & Cream Blanket

One of our favorite fruits – -- strawberry --– lends its name to a bright and modern shade of Stitch Studio yarns. The result? A warm, soft Red-and-White striped ombre blanket that'’s easy to crochet and so cozy for cuddling your baby, adding to your décor or bringing on a picnic!

Project Instructions

  • 1
Use a gauge of 18 sts and 20 rows (4 inch) for a blanket that measures 33 inch in length x 31 inch in width. Be sure to check your gauge. If it takes you less chains to match the gauge, try using a smaller size hook; if it takes you more chains, try a larger size hook. Download the template, if needed, for commonly used abbreviations in yarn projects.
Note: Take care to start each wide strip at the same point in the color pattern of the yarn. Do the same for the narrow strips, starting in a different color section. On the sample, each wide stripe starts and ends with a Red section and each narrow strip starts and ends with a White section.
