Sweet Beads Stunningly Simple Chain Fringe Earrings
These gorgeous Silver hoop earrings take less than an hour to make! You can't go wrong with this type of jewelry or accessory -- wear 'em with your little Black dress, to the office or to dress up your favorite jeans. Add fringe made with Black suede cord for an even bolder look!
- Time:45 minutes
1Cut six pieces of cord, each 3-1/2 inch long. Take the first piece and fold it in half. Put a drop of glue between the halves to hold them together. You should leave a little space at the top of the fold, so that a loop is formed above the glue dot. Repeat this for the other five pieces of cord. Give them time to dry. Note: Project time does not include this drying time. Cut twelve pieces of chain that are 3-1/2 inch each.
2Hold the hoop so that you are looking at its backside. Gently tug on the right side so that the wire pulls free from the top of the hoop. Slide the components onto the hoop in the following pattern: Silver spacer bead, chain, suede cord, chain and so on. Push the free end of the wire hoop back into place and use your chain nose pliers to crimp it into place. Open the loop on your earwire, thread the hoop onto the earwire and close the loop.
3Repeat steps 1 and 2 for a matching earring.
