Thanksgiving Kids' Table Gratitude Tree

Teach your kids the true meaning of Thanksgiving by using Styrofoam, felt, stickers and other craft basics. Create a Thanksgiving tree centerpiece showing what they’'re thankful for wrapped around the branches. Make the Placemats, Napkin Rings and Banner for the cutest kids' table ever!

Project Details

  • Time:about an hour

Project Instructions

  • 1
    Download and print the project template. Use it to cut the leaves in the colors and quantities indicated and set aside.

    Hot glue the foam ball into the clay pot. Push the branch or twig into the foam ball, remove, apply hot glue, and re-insert.
  • 3
    Hot glue acorns around the top of the clay pot, covering the foam ball.
  • 4
    Hot glue the leaves to the branch or twig as desired. Attach stickers to the leaves and pot.

    Cut 3/4" strips of cardstock and cut V shapes into the ends. Have children write what they’'re thankful for on the strip and then attach them to the branches with hot glue or Scotch tape.
