The Beadsmith Darling Daisies Bracelet

Project Instructions

    Cut four pieces of knotting cord that are 33 inch long each. Tie the cords together in a knot at the 5 inch mark. Fan out the strands. From right to left, call them Strands 1, 2, 3, 4.

    Working from right to left, make double half hitch knots with Strand 1 & 2, then Strand 2 & 3, then 3 & 4. Repeat.

    To start the first flower, add one Yellow bead to Strand 2. Make a double half hitch knot with Strand 3 to hold it in place. Add 3 Red beads to Strand 1. Make a double half hitch knot with Strand 2 to hold it in place.

    Working from left to right, make double half hitch knots with Strand 4 & 3, then Strand 3 & 2, then 2 & 1. Repeat.

    To start your second flower, add one Yellow bead to Strand 3. Make a double half hitch knot with Strand 2 to hold it in place. Add 3 red beads to Strand 4. Make a double half hitch knot with Strand 3 to hold it in place.

    Repeat steps 2 through 5 until the bracelet is at the desired length.

    Keeping Strands 1 and 2 together, braid the remaining length of cord and make a knot. Do the same thing for the other end of the bracelet. Tie the two ends together to close the bracelet.
