Project Instructions

  • 1
Paint and/or use the bistro chalk markers draw a face on each pumpkin. Let dry.
  • 2
Cut out the top stem on each pumpkin, making a hole large enough for candy. Cut two 24"” long pieces of 19 gauge Black craft wire. Fold each in half and bend in a "u" shape, and then twist it together to make one solid wire. Cut holes on each side of the pumpkins, insert the wires, and twist to secure.
  • 3
Cut 2 cat ears out of Midnight (Black) cardstock. Add details to these ears with the White bistro chalk marker. Glue the ears to the top of the pumpkin.
  • 4
Glue the Black boa around the outside edge of the pumpkin’'s opening. Cut a 12"” piece of the Black craft wire for the tail, and wrap the Black boa around the wire, leaving a 3" section bare. Make a hole in the back of the cat and insert the bare wire, twisting to hold it in place.
  • 5
Twist Orange and Black chenille stems together, then glue them to the "u" part of the craft wire to create a soft spot for the handle.
