Washi Tape Window Shapes

Those windows could use a washi! Some of our favorite washi tape projects are designed exclusively for kids, including these Washi Tape Window Shapes. Even if 'the help' says they 'don't do windows', they’'ll love being able to create window decorations in any shape and in just about any color they want!

Project Instructions

  • 1
Take a piece of wire and bend it into any shape you want. We made a heart, a star, and a circle, but you can be as creative as you'’d like. When you have your shape, tape the ends of your wire together.
  • 2
Wrap your shape with strips of any washi tape you want until it’'s completely covered.
  • 3
Punch a hole at the top of your shape. Then, thread a piece of monofilament into the hole and tie a knot. Hang the shape in a window with the suction cup.
  • 4
Window, window on the wall, make & hang your shapes, then show all! #ACMooreInspired
