1Prepare cookie dough and roll out following recipe directions. Use cutter to cut snowflakes. Bake and cool cookies.

2Fill in cookies. Prepare royal icing following recipe directions on the meringue powder package.

3Reserve some White icing. Tint portions Rose, Kelly green and Red (Combine Christmas Red with Red-Red for color shown in photo). Thin portions of each color by adding light corn syrup to desired consistency. Use tip 3 and full-strength Rose, Kelly Green or Red icing to outline snowflake. Let set 1 hour. Use thinned Rose, Green or Red icing and cut disposable bags to fill in cookie. Let dry 3 hours or until hard.

4Tint a small portion of reserved White icing Pale Rose. Use tip 4 and reserved full-strength White icing or Pale Rose icing to pipe outline veins on snowflakes. Immediately position sugar pearls on veins or attach between veins using tip 4 to pipe dots. Let dry 3 hours. Use a White Pearl Dust/lemon extract mixture to paint veins on Red cookie. Let dry 10 minutes.
