Wilton Shape-N-Amaze Bernie the Woodland Bear
Look who has come out of hibernation just to say hello? The Wilton Shape-N-Amaze Bernie the Woodland Bear is a teddy bear of a topper on any celebration cake!
- Time:1 hour
1You may find it helpful to watch the "Hints on Assembling 3D Characters" video that is available on this page before beginning this project. There are also other videos on using Wilton Shape-N-Amaze Edible Dough available on A.C. Moore's YouTube channel that you may find useful.
2Create bear's head and ears using Brown. Add details around the mouth area by mixing a small amount of Brown and White to get the lighter Brown seen in the picture. Add eyes, nose and mouth and other enhancements (if desired) with Black.
3Mold the body and legs using Brown. Use Gum Paste Sticks to support the project as close to the middle of the body as you can. To make a Gum Paste Stick, press a small amount of White fondant into the smallest square available on the Measure-N-Shape Sizing Tray. Then remove it and shape it into a ball with your hands. Once you have done this, slowly roll it into the approximate length and width of a toothpick.
4Attach head to body, then attach legs.
