Wilton Shape-N-Amaze Elsie the Spotted Cow
The barnyard bovine known as Wilton Shape-N-Amaze Elsie the Spotted Cow has something to "moo" about! She's excited to top farm-themed cake or treats when you model this edible topper with the instructions and supplies listed!
- Time:1 hour
1Project time does not include it will take for head made out of the dough to dry ("set").
2You may find it helpful to watch the "Hints on Assembling 3D Characters" video that is available on this page before beginning this project. There are also other videos on using Wilton Shape-N-Amaze Edible Dough available on A.C. Moore's YouTube channel that you may find useful.
3Create cow's head using White, Brown and Red as shown or as desired.
4Mold the body and legs using Brown and White. Shape hooves using Black and attach to the legs. Use Gum Paste Sticks to support the project where the head will come together with the body. To make a Gum Paste Stick, press a small amount of White fondant into the smallest square available on the Measure-N-Shape Sizing Tray. Then remove it and shape it into a ball with your hands. Once you have done this, slowly roll it into the approximate length and width of a toothpick.
5Assemble the cow. Attach a collar with Red and a bell for the collar with Yellow.
6Support the head with a small paper cup and let dry ("set") for 12 hours.
