Wilton Candy Corn Cookies

Project Instructions

    Make cookies. Prepare and roll out dough. Use a knife to cut three sizes of cookies, 1-½"” x 2"”, 3-¼"” x 2”" and 3-¾”" x 1-¾”". Place same-size cookies on separate cookie sheets. Bake and cool cookies. Note: project time does not include this baking and cooling time.

    Cover cookies with candy. Melt candy corn Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag. Cut small point off the end of the bag. Place cookies on cooling grid over parchment-covered pan. Cover cookies with melted candy. Tap to smooth and remove excess candy. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

    Sprinkle with sugars. Brush cookies with piping gel. Immediately sprinkle bottom third of cookie with Yellow sugar and middle third with Orange sugar.
    Makes about 24 cookies.
