Wilton Chick in the Egg Cookies
What came first, the chicken or the egg? With this Easter-themed cookie, they came at the same time. Use the Color Right Performance Color System to guarantee the same color of icing every time you make this treat!

1Make cookies: Follow recipe for making batter. Use egg from the cookie cutter set to shape cookies. Bake and cool cookies, following recipe instructions. Note: Project time does not include this baking and cooling time.
2Decorate cookies: Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint icing in the following shades:
Pastel Yellow = 2 cups White icing + 2 Y
Black: 1/4 cup White icing + 9 BK
Use spatula to ice cookies smooth in Yellow icing. Position chick cutter in center of cookie. Sprinkle Pink nonpareils around outside of cutter. Carefully remove cutter. Pipe tip No. 2 pull out dot wings in Yellow icing. Pipe tip No. 2 dot eyes in Black icing.
