Wilton Cinnamon Apple Butter Spritz Cookies

Project Instructions

    Prepare dough. Preheat oven 350°F. In mixing bowl, cream 1/2 cup apple butter, 1/2 cup butter (that's at room temperature) and 1 cup granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon and mix. Mix in 2-1/2 cups flour until blended.

    Shape cookies. Roll dough into logs and fill cookie press. Using disks, press cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake cookies. Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes on cooling grid. Remove from cookie sheet and continue to cool on grid. Note: project time does not include this baking and cooling time.

    Makes about 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
