Wilton Citrus Collision Cupcakes

Pink and yellow come together beautifully in your decorating bag and on these easy-to-make swirl top cupcakes. The bright citrus icing is achieved with the Wilton Color Right Performance Color System.

Project Instructions

    Bake and cool cupcakes. Place baking cups in muffin pan. Follow recipe instructions to make five cups of batter. Bake cupcakes. Cool cupcakes on grid. Project time does not include this baking and cooling time.

    Decorate cupcakes. Use the Color Right Base Colors and Quick Count color formulas to tint icings in the following shades:
    Pastel Pink = (formula 1895) 2 cups icing + 1 P
    Pastel Yellow = (formula 100) 2 cups icing + 2 Y
    Fill one 12" disposable decorating bag with Pink icing and one with Yellow icing; cut 1" from tips of bags. Prepare a 16" disposable decorating bag with tip 1M; place 12" bags into the 16" bag. Pipe swirls on cupcake tops.

    Makes about 24 cupcakes.
