Wilton Easter Eggs
There are so many ways you to decorate Easter eggs!
- Time:1 hour
1Project time does not include the time it will take for the color spray or markers to dry.
2Shimmering Color Mist Eggs:
Place hard-cooked egg on paper towel. Spray with Pink, Blue or Violet food color spray. Let dry, about 5 minutes. Turn egg over on paper towel. Spray other side with food color spray. Let dry, about 5 minutes.
Spray one side of egg with Gold or Silver food color spray.
While egg is still wet, use brush to dab color around egg surface to create marbleized look. Let dry, about 5 minutes. Turn to spray and dab on other side of egg. Let dry, about 5 minutes.
3Mega Petal Flower Eggs:
Use Blue or Pink marker to draw a dot on side of egg in center.
Use Blue or Pink marker to draw six petals around the center. Continue drawing rows of six petals, increasing the width for each row to cover side of egg.
Use Purple or Pink marker to draw a line in each petal.
Use Blue or Purple marker to outline and fill in an eight-petal flower, about 1/2 inch diameter at the top point of egg. Draw dots around flower.
Use same color marker to outline an eight-petal flower around the first flower at top of egg. Repeat with two more outlined flowers around the first, starting each petal at the top center of petals on the previous flower.
Use same color marker to draw lines between the first and second outlined flowers. Draw dots inside the second and third outlined flowers. Draw scallops outside the third flower.
Repeat design on opposite side of egg.
Use Pink or Purple color marker to outline several five-petal flowers randomly around egg. Use Blue edible color marker to fill in flower.
Use Pink or Purple marker to outline flower shape around main flower.
