- Time:1 hour
1Project time does not include time needed to neither bake nor cool cookies.
Color flow icing takes at least eight hours to dry so it is recommended you start your projects at least one day before serving.
Use a little bit of Black to obtain the Gray shown.
2One day in advance, prepare and roll out dough following recipe directions. Use butterfly, bunny, tulip and egg cutters to cut shapes. Bake and cool all cookies.
3Prepare color flow icing following mix directions. Tint portions Rose, Blue, Violet, Moss Green and Gray; reserve remaining White icing. Thin a portion of White icing following mix directions. Use tip 2, a cut disposable decorating bag and full-strength White icing to outline cookies. Use thinned White icing in cut disposable decorating bag to fill in cookies. Let cookies dry overnight.
4For butterflies, tulips and eggs, use tip 2, cut disposable decorating bags and full-strength Rose, Blue, Violet, Green and Gray icing to pipe straight or curved lines, 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch apart. For bunny use tip 2, cut disposable decorating bags and full-strength Rose and Blue icing to pipe large and small dots. Pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Let dry, about 10 to 15 minutes.
