1Project time does not include the time needed to bake and cool cake.
2Prepare batter following recipe directions. Tint 1/3 of batter Light Rose, 1/3 Dark Rose. Reserve remaining White batter. Spoon batter into pans, alternating colors; smooth top. Bake and cool cakes following recipe directions. Level cakes if needed.
3Prepare whipped icing mixes according to package directions. Use spatula and icing to ice top of one layer. Position second layer on top.
4Tint 6 cups icing Light Rose. Reserve remainder White. Use spatula and Light Rose icing to ice cake.
5Use tip 1M, a cut disposable decorating bag (from the cupcake decorating kit) and reserved White icing to pipe swirls on cake top, following heart shape. Position icing decoration on each swirl.
