Wilton Peppermint Spoon Truffles

Project Instructions

    Prepare truffles. Chop 1 package of Light Cocoa Candy Melts candy. Heat 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream just to boiling point and pour over chopped candy; stir until smooth and glossy. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Roll truffle mixture into 3/4" balls; chill 15 minutes. Melt the other bag of candy melts; dip truffles in candy. Place on parchment-covered board. Chill until firm, about 5-10 minutes.

    Decorate. Attach candy cane icing decoration to truffle with a dot of melted candy. Attach truffle to Candy Cane spoon with candy. Chill until firm, 5-10 minutes.

    Makes about two dozen truffles.
