Wilton Personal Pinata Cinco de Mayo Cakes
Just like a real pinata, the goodies come out of these colorful cakes!

1Project time does not include baking or cooling time.
2Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cake. Trim cake to 1/2 inch high. Use pony cutter from set to cut three shapes for each treat. One cake makes three treats. Use knife to carefully cut out center of one shape, leaving a 1/4 inch border around cake.
3Reserve some White icing.
Then, use the Color Right Base Colors and Quick Count color formulas to tint icings in the following shades:
Orange = 2 C White icing + (formula 164) 12 O + 4 Y + 4 R + 1 P
Red = 2 C White icing + (formula 185) 16 R + 3 P
Neon Yellow = 2 C White icing + (formula 012) 35 Y
Neon Green = 2 C White icing + (formula 802) 25 Y + 3 B
Neon Blue = 2 C White icing + (formula 801) 15 B
Neon Purple = 2 C White icing + (formula 814) 18 P + 6 B + 2 R
4Position one pony shape on work surface. Use tip 4, a cut disposable decorating bag and White icing to outline shape. Position cut pony shape on top of first shape. Fill opening with candy. Pipe a tip 4 outline on cut shape. Position another whole pony shape. Use spatula to lightly ice stacked cakes; chill about 15 minutes.
5Position chilled cake upright on serving plate. Use tip 103, cut disposable decorating bags and tinted icings to cover cakes with overlapping rows of ruffles starting at the bottom and working up, alternating colors. Cover all sides of cake. Position candy eyeballs. Use tip 103, a cut disposable decorating bag and Neon Blue icing to pipe pull-out ears.
