Wilton Pumpkin Cakes

Project Instructions

    Project time does not include time needed neither to bake and cool cakes.

    Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake mini and bite-sized cakes in silicone mold supported by cookie sheet. Let mini and bite-sized cakes cool and unmold according to mold pacjage directions.

    Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint portions Orange and Green and a small amount Black. (Tip: combine Leaf Green with Lemon Yellow for Green shown.)

    Use spatula and Orange icing to ice pumpkin section of cakes smooth. Use spatula and Green icing to ice stems smooth.
  • 5
    Use tip 3, a cut disposable decorating bag and Black icing to attach large candy eyeballs to mini cakes and candy eyeballs to bite-sized cakes. Use tip 3 and Black icing to pipe an outline smile or outline and fill in mouth. Pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch.
