Wilton Pumpkin Cakes
Kids will love baking, decorating and eating their very own pumpkins!
- Time:3 hours
1Project time does not include time needed neither to bake and cool cakes.
2Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake mini and bite-sized cakes in silicone mold supported by cookie sheet. Let mini and bite-sized cakes cool and unmold according to mold pacjage directions.
3Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint portions Orange and Green and a small amount Black. (Tip: combine Leaf Green with Lemon Yellow for Green shown.)
4Use spatula and Orange icing to ice pumpkin section of cakes smooth. Use spatula and Green icing to ice stems smooth.
5Use tip 3, a cut disposable decorating bag and Black icing to attach large candy eyeballs to mini cakes and candy eyeballs to bite-sized cakes. Use tip 3 and Black icing to pipe an outline smile or outline and fill in mouth. Pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch.
